Private Candle Making Experience at Southdale Center

Host your own private Candle Making Experience at T.S. Home Studio, located inside Southdale Center. Perfect for team outings, celebrations, birthdays, bridal parties, or a memorable night out with friends and family, our private events offer an exclusive and personalized candle-making session in our beautifully curated store space.
With expert guidance from our Scent Consultant, each guest will explore a collection of over 50 fragrances—including seasonal favorites—to create their own custom scent. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the candle-pouring process as you craft one 14oz candle featuring a crackling wood wick and 100% natural soy wax. Larger vessels and additional candles are available as upgrades during your session.
Each private event includes exclusive use of our space for three hours. The candle-making portion lasts approximately one hour, followed by time to relax, socialize, and shop. Guests also receive 20% off same-day store purchases.
Add a Bottle of TÖST to your event for just $10 each. This alcohol-free sparkling beverage is perfect for toasting, gifting, or celebrating—and one bottle serves up to four guests.
About This Experience
Our private Candle Making Experiences are designed for groups of 12 or more and include everything needed for a memorable, hands-on event.
Private Party Details
  • Cost: $650, covering up to 12 guests.
  • Additional Guests: $49 per person (maximum 24 guests).
  • Duration: 3 hours (includes candle-making, social time, and shopping).
  • Included: All materials, instruction, and one 14oz candle per guest.
Booking Details
During checkout, please note your preferred start time. Once your booking is received, we’ll reach out to confirm your event details. A 30% deposit reserves your date and applies toward the final balance, which is due one week before your event.
  • Food & Beverages: Can be enjoyed after the class portion. You are welcome to cater in appetizers, food, and wine.
  • Age Restrictions: Because our Candle Making Experiences include handling hot wax and fragrance oils, participants must be 10 years or older to join. A legal guardian does not have to be present, but there must be one chaperone for every six guests under the age of 13.

Additional FAQs

What if my group is less than 12 but we still want a private event?

We are able to accomodate a smaller group for the private event. Typically its worked out that each guest will make two candles instead of one but the minimum price stays $650.

Can I bring my own vessel?

Our vessels go through safety testing to make sure they withstand being a candle without leaking or breaking, so we don't allow you to bring your own vessel.

How can I change my reservation?

If you need to make any changes to your reservation (date, time, number of seats, etc.), Most changes we can easily accomodate up to 3 days before your private events. Please contact us and we'll take care of you!
